Keep Track of Your Work for the 4th Quarter
The Last Dog by Kathleen Paterson
4th Quarter Independent Reading Project
Pretend you are any main character in the book. Write in the first person.
Put yourself in the perspective of one of the main characters and write in the first person (use the pronouns I and me). You can be writing in a journal, telling the story to a friend, or writing a letter.
For each entry, describe a major event. Share your perspective as that character, and add details to make the event “come to life” for the reader. Write 2 entries (Honors 3) which are at least half a page long.
Bonus: Include a cover with an image, the title, the author.

Please choose at least one of the following activities each week:
Have someone take a picture of you with something you made to eat or a project you made. Send it to email@example.com or send it through Remind. I will add it to the Classroom Gallery. Be sure to add a comment about the snack or project you are showing.
Contribute a baby or toddler photo of yourself for a "who's who" challenge. We will run a contest to see how many of your classmates you can identify.
Add to, or start, a journal to record what we all are experiencing. Below are some examples. They are amazing documents to what we are going through. You will want to remember this time, since it will be studied in history for sure. You might want to focus on things you are doing to pass the time and stay positive, how you are struggling at times with all these changes, what you are learning about the world, or anything else.
